Welcome to the new MarcomBlog!
I wanted to make some small gesture to the contributors and students that have been making this blog my favorite experience. So, we’ve spruced up the place. A happy change - I hope - for all involved.
Thank you, Contributors, for making this special experience possible for the students. Thank you, Students, for buying into the process. It all means a lot to me.
Also, there is something new ‘under the hood’ - WordPress 1.5. Yes, we’ve upgraded. Had some frequent blogging miles and decided to cash them in.
Tell us what you think. Any comments, suggestions, critiques are welcome. We want this to be a blog you enjoy. If I need to make some tweaks to colors or text sizes - ever so slightly - for your reading pleasure, please let me know.
The students looked it over last night and gave their thumbs up.

Yep, Tara … it is either orange or blue here.
An Auburn thing. I went with the blue as it was the blog’s previous color.

Oh, thank goodness. It now works. We have comment preview, XHTML validation and most of all - the final SPAM prevention Mod/Hack. I know you folks haven’t been seeing the Spam with the new 1.5 install, but I sure have.
So, please let me know if anyone sees any problems with the new setup for comments.

I love this new design. I think it looks very professional and I like how all of the posts are enclosed in boxes so it is easier to tell where they end and begin.
