It sounds like Saul Bellow was someone who really desired to and did make an impact on human life rather than just human thought. Thanks for giving us a chance to read about him!

Thanks for the biography. I’m about 99% sure I’ve read some of his award winning Jewish Literature before. No doubt have english classes all over the world probably read his work. It’s sad when people like him pass, because we now know his work will no longer be coming to us, but at least it will always be read and appreciated. And anyone who can write for Playboy AND The New Yorker must have quite some range of writing. What a well-respected man.
