I love this idea! Reading online newspaper publications is a poor substitution to manually flipping through a daily page by page. Newspaper layout and print is an art form of sorts. You loose the impact of a story or a picture by viewing it online instead of newsprint. There is a graphic aesthetic to the fonts, photo quality and linear lines of a newspaper layout. Treeless Papers seem like a nice alternative to online newspapers because you still see the paper the way it was intended, complete with columns of justified text and telling photography.
