Lee,
Welcome to Marcom and thank you for participating in our adventure here. I appreciate you taking your time to tell us all about your knowledge and experience in the public relations world. This is such a great opportunity for us as students to learn from professionals and hopefully apply it to what we will be doing in our future career. Especially since you are on the global scale and can give a different insight than others.
I have read your blog and am looking forward to your first post here at marcom, no pressure or anything. It is always great to have another PR practitioner write about topics and areas we are currently learning about. It never hurts to have as much information as possible. Thanks again for joining our team and we all do appreciate it.

Lee,
Thanks again for joining our networking session!! Coming from someone who is still new to this whole blogging conspiracy, having people who are optimistic about us students blogging really gives me motivation to want to blog and to continue blogging in the future. Australia, eh? What's it like there? One of my good friends is moving out there sometime in August, right after he gets done with the Navy, and he is very excited! Not so sure that he is ready for it, but at least now I'll have a free place to stay in Australia!

Anyways, all jokes aside, I am looking forward to hearing your input in being a PR practitioner and any advice you may have. I recently accepted an internship in New York and will be moving out there in less than a month! I will be assisting with special events and any pointers you have would be greatly appreciated. I've received a lot of feedback in regards to my internship, but advice from a professional like yourself would always be useful! Especially from someone who is on the other side of the globe! Look forward to writing with you in the future and thanks again for joining. We appreciate it more than you know! -Nicole

G'day Emily,
Many thanks for your very kind welcome. I've read your own blog and I am impressed! :-)

I'm flat out finishing off a client project at the moment, but will post shortly (it's always nerve wracking, isn't it, one's first post?!)
God bless, Lee

Lee,
Thank you for joining the exclusive Marcomblog group of contributors. I have taken a look at your blog, and I'm excited to see what wisdom you have to share with us. Your list of past experiences is impressive, to say the least. You are fortunate to have been able work with the web as it has evolved into what we know today. Even though I have had my hand in Web 2.0 for about a year now, it still amazes me how I can learn first hand from a professional on the other side of the globe.

I look forward to what is to come, and again, thank you for supporting blogging as a means of education. -Emily
